September 8 – Allyson George MDUMC “Wonderfully Made”

Allyson George is the Director of Children’s Ministry at Memorial Drive UMC in Houston and an experienced “Wonderfully Made” facilitator.  Wonderfully Made is a United Methodist resource that offers preteens and their parents an opportunity to begin the important conversations about bodies, human growth, sexuality, reproduction and relationships. The goal of the course is to help children understand their bodies, the changes they are going through, and how God loves them now and always.


October 13 – Tim Robison and Byron Bray – Armored Sports 

Armored Sports partners with churches to offer interactive sports camps for children in the Greater Houston Area. Kids also hear bible stories and learn memory verses within a fun, encouraging environment. 


November 10 – Mary Tumulty – First Methodist Conroe – Spiritual Self-Care Plan for Advent 

During the season of Advent, we often get caught up in creating experiences and practice for others and neglect our own spiritual self-care. Rev. Mary Tumulty will help us develop a plan and practices that we can use during this holy season. Mary Tumulty is a deacon serving at First Methodist Conroe. She loves to share her passion for Christian spiritual formation and education, worship, and helping people of all ages and stages find deep connections to God through spiritual practices.

Everyone is invited to a very special Christmas celebration and book swap. Simply wrap your favorite book (new or used, from any category - picture book, Bible study, young adult, non-fiction, recent, classic) to join in the fun, Christmas themed swap!
