The Director of Children’s Ministry (DCM) will be someone who employs creativity and innovation to fashion an exciting, relevant, and attractive children’s ministry where children eagerly anticipate their church activities. This will be done with the understanding that Christian discipleship remains the priority.

The DCM will report to the Discipleship Pastor who is responsible for establishing the vision and direction for family ministries. The DCM will be expected to work collaboratively with other family ministries to ensure children are given a strong spiritual foundation that grounds them in the Christian faith and starts the process of equipping them for life’s challenges.

A successful candidate will provide an appealing and fun-loving environment that builds a strong spiritual foundation into the lives of children ages 0 to 6th grade. Ministry will include a holistic approach that sees children within the context of their family, the larger church fellowship, and the community beyond the walls of the church.
